I failed quite a bit to update along the way but I was pretty tired from all the driving. SO here is the massive update of how the road trip went and why I dislike Idaho:
California to Elko, NV - Day 1
Lots of traffic in California.
Truckee/Tahoe was beautiful.
California earns the "Cleanest Rest Stop" award.
Nevada was boring and deserty.
It's pretty much Arizona.
Nevada gets the "Grossest Rest Stop" award.
Nevada to Idaho To Billings, MT - Day 2
Idaho wins the "Douchebag Cop" award for having a cop speed trapping while driving the opposite direction and for turning around to give me a speeding ticket when I was going 68 in a 60. Although he swears I was going 70. I had cruise control set to 68 so...
Idaho wasn't even pretty.
It also rained the whole time I was in Idaho.
I also refused to stop at the waterfalls or potato museum because I was too mad.
Montana wins the "Most Beautiful and if They had a Beach I Would Probably Live There" award.
But seriously Montana was gorgeous.
I drove 12 hours on day 2.
Montana to Bismarck, ND - Day3
I almost ran out of gas because there are very few gas stations between Billings and Mile City.
Like I pulled into the gas station and my car said I had 0 miles before I was out of gas.
North Dakota has gorgeous sunflower fields.
I'm not really sure what kind of award North Dakota gets but sunflowers are my favorite flowers so that was plus.
I got my apartment keys.
I drove a total 26 hours and 1850 miles in 52 hours from time i left my California house to when I got to my new apartment.
